Membership Qualifications

Persons who meet the following requirements and have been approved for membership by JBA

  • Agrees with JBA's Business Policy and consents to enter into a membership contract
  • Must be in possession of Secondhand Goods Dealer License
  • Has a permanent business office and currently conducting business activities
  • With at least one year of experience in motorcycle sales
  • Understands the characteristics of the motorcycle auction site

Guidelines on Joining

Membership Process

  1. Please prepare the following documents required for membership, ensure they are completed and stamped, and send them to JBA.
  2. JBA and an external screening company will conduct the review, which takes approximately one week. We will contact you once the reviews is complete.
  3. Please transfer the initial membership fee to the designated account indicated below.
  4. Once your payment is confirmed, you will be registered as a JBA member. You will be assigned a membership number and password, and the contract will be finalized.
  5. JBA will send the registration completion notice and proof of deposit to the address specified in the contract.
  6. A membership card will be issued during your first visit to JBA. Please remember to bring your business card and driver’s license with you to the office.

  • * The third-party guarantor must be under 70 years old, employed by a company other than the contracted company or trade name, and have an income.
  • * The liability for the third-party guarantor is limited to 5 million yen.
  • * If you are unable to arrange a third-party guarantor, a guarantor service is available from a guarantor company for a monthly fee of 2,700 yen (excluding tax).
  • * The bank account transfer request form will be used to debit monthly membership fees and system support fees.

Membership Types and Monthly Fees

Onsite Member 4,800 yen (tax free)
  • Onsite members come to the auction site and participate in the auction.
  • This is a basic membership system that caters to the needs of those who want to “see the actual unit before placing a bid."
  • You can preview, place reserved bids, and search auction market prices from your computer, smartphone, or tablet at no additional charge.
WEB Members 7,800 yen (tax free)
  • WEB members participate in auctions in real-time using the internet from their computers, smartphones, and tablets.
  • In addition to the services available to onsite members, you can participate in JBA real-time auctions from anywhere in the world.
  • Please use the "Super Zoom" preview image enlargement function and the "Free Proxy Preview Hotline" to participate with peace of mind.
  • A system support fee of 12,000 yen (excluding tax) is required in both March and September each year.
  • * Monthly membership fees will be debited from your account on the 6th of the following month, with the closing date being the 19th of each month.
  • * It may take 2-3 months for the account transfer to begin. During this period, charges will appear on your auction statement of account.
  • * You can change your membership type after joining.
