Payment

The buyer must transfer the vehicle selling price, handling fees, and other charges to our designated account within 7 days of the auction date. For the Yokohama Site, the deadline is the following Thursday, and for the Kobe site, it is the following Monday. If paying by cash, please make your payment at our accounting counter during the designated cash payment hours.

Payments (including fees) for the listing and sale at the auction will be offset against each other at the corresponding auction.

Note: For bank transfers, please ensure that we can confirm receipt of payment within the business hours of the payment deadline. Failure to do so will result in a penalty. Presenting a "bank transfer confirmation" or similar document cannot be used as confirmation of payment.

Note: The payment deadline remains the same even when Monday falls on a holiday. "Monday" and "Thursday" are due dates, not "designated payment days." Please make your transfer as early as possible or pay at the cashier counter during business hours.

If Monday is a holiday, we will not be able to confirm receipt of payment until Tuesday, the day after the holiday, and you will be subject to a penalty.

Pull Out

Pull Out Procedures

  • Please wear your membership card, park at the designated loading and unloading area, and conduct vehicle pull-out.
  • During the pull-out process, we will confirm the pull-out according to the prescribed procedures.
  • Please complete the pull-out within the designated time. Note that a penalty will be charged if the pull-out deadline is exceeded.

Yokohama Site By 19:00 PM Monday following the auction week.
Kobe Site By 19:00 PM Friday of the auction week.

Documents

JBA will hand over the transfer documents for the purchased vehicle upon receipt of payment for the vehicle and related fees.

If a vehicle is listed at the same auction and was sold, the transfer documents of the purchased vehicle will be handed over in exchange for payment of the purchase vehicle and hand over of all transfer documents for the sold vehicle.

Please complete the ownership transfer procedure for the purchased vehicle within 28 days, including the auction day, and submit a copy of the vehicle certificate to JBA (submission by fax is accepted).

Change of Ownership Application

You can also submit a copy of the vehicle inspection certificate for a vehicle whose name has been changed using your smartphone.

Simply take a picture of the vehicle certificate and send it to us. Additionally, you can check the sent history on the screen to monitor ownership changes.

Notification of change of ownership completion is easy

After logging in to the JBA homepage tap “Notify Change of Ownership” on your smartphone and the screen on the leftbelow will be displayed.

Simply take a photo of the vehicle's registration certificate from this screen and send it to complete the change of ownership notification.
